Back in high school, despite being the school the media always painted as violent (“32 blocks away from Garfield High School, there was a robbery…” “Wait, isn’t that right NEXT to another high school? WTF.”), we only had one shooting. Some guy was tripping with some other guy, and he pulls out a gun in the lunch room. Everyone runs, screaming, “He’s got a gun!” One white girl, decides that when you see a crowd of people running and screaming “He’s got a gun! RUN!” the wise course of action is to WALK TOWARDS SAID GUNMAN and ask, “Is that a pop gun?” She got shot in the leg. She was on the news saying, “I’m so angry, he ruined my favorite pair of jeans.” annnnnnnnnnnd it’s time to bring this gem up.
