I had an hour long conversation with my big sister today (Zena the Sociologist). We ranted about how society unfairly judges black women based on their ability to attract black men, even though black women are some of the most intelligent people I’ve ever met, and black men, while demonized by society, can be pretty sorry fucks.
I like her a lot.
Dion, now why you go and post this? Now I got to go in about how black women aren’t just judged on their ability to attract black men, we’re judged on our ability to put up with their abuse for extended periods of time while society blames us for the behavior.
Because clearly she ain’t doing right if he’s beating her, raping her and cheating on her, right?
She just ain’t prayin hard enough or bending over to satisfy his needs with no reciprocity….
