so…one of the major issues in detroit is car theft. and by car theft, i mean anything from parts being stolen to be resold to the entire car being taken.
i know people who had their entire cars stolen, i know other people who woke up to find their entire car up on blocks and their tires, and engine parts gone.
my car just got hit—they took several different engine parts that is going to take $1200 to replace.
i don’t have $1200. we’re those kind of people that have just enough to pay the bills. where one major unexpected expense is going to break us. and it just did. we don’t have $1200.
