This country really does everything to enable white male violence.

The Aurora terrorist was rejected by a lot of schools, but one of them (University of Michigan) not only rejected him, but called other admins to warn them how fucked up he was and that they should probs not let him anywhere near their school.

And that sets off enough red flags, but his fucking PSYCHIATRIST alerted authorities that he was some kinda way and STILL ain’t nobody do shit. Which is stunning to me cuz they will put you on a 72hr psych hold in a nanosecond if your therapist says you’ve crossed even a centimeter over the threshold of acceptable crazy.

But I suppose that could’ve been why he was in the process of being suspended? I know UofM enforces mandatory medical leave for suicidal students and won’t let you back in unless you’ve spent a HEFTY amount of time in in-patient treatment…

But this dude clearly came off as SCARY to people. Like, it seems folks thought he was a legit danger to others, not just himself. And still he was able to go about buying weapons and making bombs without any kind of surveillance.

When, meanwhile, the government out here shutting down hip hop blogs, searching afros at the airport, and spying on anybody with a hint of middle eastern in they family.

Ugh. Fuckin, America.
